ApreoVS (BFSEM) @ Biozentrum
The ApreoVS (VolumeScope) is a blockface scanning electron microscope for the investigation of fine structures in 3D. Depending on the operation mode the xy-resolution reaches down to 5 - 20 nm with a cutting thickness of 30 - 40 nm. Typical volumes are in the range of (50 µm)3 to (100 µm)3.
